1.Combine oil and onion in a large frypan and cook over moderate heat until onion is soft, about 5mins, stirring frequently. Add garlic and stir a further 1 min. Remove onion and garlic and set aside. Increase heat to high. add sausage and sauté‚ until well browned all over. About 5mins.
2.Return onion and garlic to pan, add sage and wine. Bring to a boil. Add drained beans and tomatoes, and reduce heat to a simmer. Set lid on an angle and cook gently for 15mins. Scatter with parsley and serve straight away, or serve just warm.
