These pork belly bites are super simple and made in the air fryer. Fried until crispy and golden and then smothered in a buttery chilli sauce, these little morsels are the ideal snack for a casual dinner party or can be served with rice and greens for dinner.

Ingredients

For the sticky sauce

Method

1.

Chop up that pork belly into bite-sized pieces, and drizzle them with olive oil until they’re all shiny and ready to cook.

2.

Combine all the spices: smoked paprika, onion powder and garlic powder with the salt and pepper. Then, give your pork belly pieces a good rub-down with the spice mix. Make sure every piece is covered in delicious flavour!

3.

Arrange your spiced pork belly pieces in your air fryer in one layer. Don’t worry if you can’t fit them all at once, you can always do a second round.

4.

Set the temperature to 200°C and the timer for 25 minutes, then cook those bad boys, giving them a shake halfway through to ensure even cooking.

5.

While your pork is sizzling away, get started on the sticky sauce: combine honey, chilli sauce and butter in a microwave-safe bowl big enough to toss your cooked pork belly in. Zap this in the microwave for 1-2 minutes or until butter is melted and sauce is gooey. Give it a stir to make sure it’s all mixed together.

6.

When your pork belly bites are crispy and golden, toss them in the sticky sauce bowl. Make sure each bite is coated with the yummy sauce! Then finish it off with coriander freshness.

And there you go, the perfect sticky pork belly bites to share with friends and family… Or not!
