This air fryer potatoes recipe results in deliciously tangy, crunchy potatoes to go with the perfect roast dinner, or as an anytime snack.

Method
Place potatoes in a large saucepan. Add vinegar, salt and enough water to just cover; bring to the boil. Boil, partially covered, for 15–20 minutes (the time will vary depending on the size of the potatoes) or until potatoes are tender; drain.
Preheat a 5.3-litre air fryer to 200°C for 3 minutes.
Transfer potatoes to a large oven tray. Using a potato masher or the back of a spoon, press down on potatoes until flattened slightly and skins split. Brush potatoes with oil.
Taking care, place potatoes in the air fryer basket; at 200°C, cook for 30 minutes, turning twice during cooking time, or until potatoes are golden. Add garlic 10 minutes into cooking time and rosemary in the last 5 minutes.
Season smashed potatoes generously with salt. Serve with roast garlic and rosemary sprigs.
