Filo pastry recipes
With its many layers, filo is the most flaky and crisp of all the pastries. To celebrate this, we have compiled a selection of our favourite sweet and savoury filo pastry recipes so you and your family can enjoy a delicious slice of pie, some moreish cigars or a wedge of sweet baklava.
Chocolate baklava rolls
Set aside for 4 hours or overnight for the syrup to be absorbed. Serve with any remaining syrup drizzled over. Not suitable to freeze or microwave. Note

These smoked trout tarts with peas and dill make a great lunch. If you’d like to make finger food sized versions for a party, just quarter the filo sheets at the beginning, use a mini-muffin tin and cut the cooking time to 10-12 minutes.
